This Father’s Day was a milestone for our family – our first with four kids. To mark the occasion, we decided to treat ourselves to a delightful evening at a nearby steak restaurant, Me’nate. Despite not having made a reservation, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away upon arrival. The ambiance was perfect for a family celebration, and the food certainly lived up to our expectations with its delicious flavors and generous portions.

What made this day even more special were the thoughtful gestures from our children. Rui Yen, our youngest, surprised me with a homemade massage voucher, promising to redeem it for me during her school breaks. It was both funny and heartwarming to receive such a thoughtful gift from her.

As I reflect on this first Father’s Day with all our kids around the table, I am filled with gratitude and joy. Being a father to four wonderful children brings its challenges, but moments like these remind me of the immense love and happiness they bring into our lives. Here’s to many more celebrations and cherished memories together as a family.
